Isle of Skye is the ultimate destination for couples seeking a dramatic and intimate setting for their elopement. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of a lovely couple who had a two-day elopement adventure on the Isle of Skye, with Broadford, Elgol, and Torrin as their stunning backdrops.
Due to unpredictable weather, including high winds and a storm, the couple decided to separate their ceremony and photoshoot into two days. The first day was dedicated to their intimate ceremony, with just the bride, groom, and their adorable toddler daughter, their only guest. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by the natural beauty of Broadford, a peaceful and picturesque village on the edge of the island.
The second day of their elopement was reserved for a photoshoot, where we explored the breathtaking scenery of Elgol and Torrin. From the jagged peaks to the shimmering waters, these locations provided the perfect backdrop for their love story. Along the way, we even spotted some charming Highland cows – a true Scottish touch!
