A Scottish Elopement at Eilean Donan Castle
Kinnedy and Levi’s wedding at Eilean Donan Castle was the very definition of refined romance. Travelling from Kentucky with a small circle of family and friends, the couple chose the Scottish Highlands for an intimate elopement surrounded by history, landscape, and quiet grandeur. As a wedding painter in Scotland with over 15 years’ experience in the wedding industry, it was an honour to create artwork that reflects the significance and beauty of their day.
Eilean Donan Castle is one of Scotland’s most iconic settings, and painting there is always a deeply inspiring experience. Painting a Timeless Portrait with 15 Years of Wedding Experience

Alongside the portrait of the couple, I also painted Kinnedy’s bouquet, a beautifully crafted arrangement by Skye Bloom Floristry. The florals were elegant and textural, perfectly complementing the Scottish setting. Creating a separate painting of the bouquet allowed its detail and artistry to be preserved long after the flowers themselves had faded, offering an additional heirloom from the day.
